For certain types of highly acidic process such as Acid Copper and Acid Zinc, Filter Units having a Filter Chamber made of PVC or P. P. is often preferred. Generally a Sealless Pump is used, though a Mechanical Seal type Pump can also be provided.

In this Unit, a Magnetic Sealless Pump of higher capacity is coupled with a Chamber of Polypropylene. The Filter Media consists of a Filter Stack comprising Polypropylene Discs, P. P. Filter Cloth & Filter Paper. The unit is mounted on a Trolley for convenience. The Unit can be suitably modified to increase / decrease the number of Discs. Pump capacity can also be suitably modified.
